Let me just start by saying—I used to be the boss of my own house. Or so I thought… until I opened a tub of TEMPTATIONS Classic Crunchy and Soft Cat Treats in Creamy Dairy Flavor.
Now? I'm just the Treat Butler.
It started innocently enough. I picked up the 16 oz. tub at the store, thinking, “These will be good for the occasional reward.”
HA. Joke’s on me. These things turned my cat into a furry little connoisseur who can now identify the crinkle of the tub lid from three rooms away—while napping. I don’t know what’s in these things (okay, I do—it’s dairy flavor, crunch on the outside, soft on the inside magic), but my girl is obsessed.
You know what? Neither do I technically need a daily oat milk latte, but here we are. These treats aren’t just for spoiling. They’re for:
Getting your cat out from under the bed when the vet arrives
Distracting them while you clip exactly ONE toenail
Luring them away from your keyboard during Zoom meetings
Rewarding their mere existence because, let’s face it, they are the main character
If your cat’s tummy is sensitive, you’ll appreciate that TEMPTATIONS doesn’t go too wild with ingredients. My cat, who once rejected a $10 salmon mousse (no, I’m not bitter), devours these with no issues. Plus, the 2-calories-per-treat situation? Love that for her.
Okay, yes. It’s a treat. But it’s motivational junk food. They’re not main-course material, but they’re perfect for:
Trick training (my cat now high-fives for one—yes, she’s that girl)
Puzzle toys or treat balls
Nighttime bribery when she’s got the zoomies, and you just want to sleep
The 16 oz. tub is actually the hero of this whole story.
No ripped bags. No twist ties. Just one-handed convenience and a lid that clicks shut like it means business. It fits in my pantry, doesn’t look hideous on the counter, and makes me feel like I have my life together even when I don’t.
Yes, this post is all about Creamy Dairy (which is clearly the cat equivalent of vanilla latte season), but let’s not forget TEMPTATIONS has a whole squad of flavors: tuna, chicken, catnip… you name it. So, when your feline friend starts getting a little too diva about dairy, you’ve got options.
If you love your cat (and if you’re reading this, you obviously do), just get the tub. You’ll feel like a snack goddess. Your cat will worship you. And everyone will be just a little bit happier during that chaotic hour between dinner and bedtime.
Oh, and don’t say I didn’t warn you:
Once you shake the tub, you’ll never walk through the kitchen alone again.
