CHECK YOUR COUPONS ON YOUR BILL - You know to check your bill to make sure that you got charged the correct price, right? (I once got charged twice for potatoes & had only bought one bag)
But do you check that your coupons have been included too?
Twice just recently, not all my coupons got added to my bill, and I had to go to Customer Service to straighten it out.
I am always very polite and grateful, thanking them for their help. But I was a bit frustrated because I had been waiting to buy the new gluten-free Chex cereal and it was finally on sale! Normally $5.95, sale price $3.99 and I had a $1.00 off coupon.
Except that when I checked my bill, the clerk had forgotten to add in my coupon!
I wondered how I could prove it? The first time I was in Walmart, and I questioned the cashier about two missing coupons. He sent me to Customer Service. She took me back to the cashier and they had a time of it looking for the coupon because one was just a tiny one, and had fallen on the floor and been kicked under the desk!
I was starting to think they would think me a liar by the time they found it! LOL
The second time I was in Loblaws Superstore, and went straight to Customer Service. I told her that I didn't know how to prove it but I had been keeping a a tally (so I can write my posts later) and that not all the coupons I used were on my bill. She was very nice about it, just went over to the cashier, checked the coupons in her till, and found the missing one.
So check your bill, and keep track of your coupons that you are using !
