Free Hands Off! Stickers (US)
First, the Transportation Security Administration rolled out controversial "naked scanners," which take electronic pictures of travelers' naked bodies.
Then, TSA began subjecting travelers to highly invasive manual searches by TSA officers. These searches debuted at Logan Airport in Boston, but TSA has now made them standard at airports nationwide for travelers who say no to being scanned.
In advance of the holiday travel season, ACLU wants to give you two things:
New "Know Your Options at the Airport" guide.
It details ways to protect your privacy at the airport. It also tells how to file official complaints about any TSA trouble you encounter.
Free "Hands Off!" stickers.
Wear them, or put them on a laptop or bag. Tell the TSA "Hands off!" and let other travelers know where to go for more information about their rights. Four stickers.
