Your dog deserves the best, including a little extra love in their bowl! But don’t just toss them a plate of your leftovers—add these healthy goodies instead.

Here's what will get tails wagging and keep those puppy eyes bright:

1. Pumpkin 🎃

Full of fiber and beta-carotene, pumpkin is great for digestion. Plus, it helps them channel their inner "Great Pumpkin" vibes.

2. Blueberries 🫐

Packed with antioxidants, these tiny treats are dog-friendly superfoods. They’re like vitamins... but tastier!

3. Carrots 🥕

Crunchy, sweet, and loaded with vitamin A, carrots double as a snack and a chew toy. Who knew health could be so fun?

4. Plain Yogurt 🥛

Rich in probiotics, yogurt is great for gut health. Make sure it’s unsweetened because Fido doesn’t need a sugar rush.

5. Sweet Potatoes 🍠

These vitamin-rich spuds are gentle on tummies and bring a natural sweetness to any meal. Watch out though—they might start begging for seconds!

6. Salmon 🐟

Omega-3 fatty acids in salmon give your dog’s coat that red carpet shine. But always cook it first; raw fish is a no-go.

7. Spinach 🌱

Popeye would be proud! Spinach provides iron, calcium, and a sprinkle of leafy green goodness to your pup’s plate.

8. Apples 🍎

An apple a day keeps the vet away... mostly. Just remove the seeds and core first—they’re not dog-approved snacks.

9. Green Beans 🌿

Low-calorie, crunchy, and full of fiber, green beans make a great addition for those dogs who are always on the lookout for “bonus snacks.”

10. Eggs 🥚

Scrambled, boiled, or poached, eggs provide high-quality protein. They’re nature’s gift to your dog’s energy levels and shiny coat!

How to Serve Them:

Start small! Introduce these foods as occasional treats or mix-ins with their regular kibble. Avoid seasoning or additives—Fido’s taste buds are simpler than yours.

Healthy Pup, Happy Life!

Feeding your dog healthy foods is more than just an act of love—it’s an investment in wagging tails, playful barks, and long walks. Your dog will thank you with endless cuddles and slobbery kisses!

Lisa posted: Okay, dog parents—what’s the weirdest thing your pup has ever begged you for? My dog, Bailey, once tried to steal a slice of cucumber from my salad. I mean, of all things, a cucumber?! It got me thinking about how much our pets deserve to eat as well as we do (though maybe not my salad).

Lately, I’ve been looking into fresher food options that are actually made with real ingredients. Turns out, fresh pet food isn’t as over-the-top as I thought—it’s just a way to keep our best friends healthy and happy. 🐾🍴
