Help children learn about the importance of proper nutrition. Breakfast for Learning is pleased to offer the following complementary child nutrition education resources for order.
The Menu Planner
- Improve your family’s health and save time and money by pre-planning meals and menus. And kids will enjoy getting in on the planning! This wipe-off board can be kept on the fridge or posted on a bulletin board and comes with a re-usable shopping list! Includes a marker and tips on planning and healthy eating. Developed in partnership with Dairy Farmers of Canada.
STAYING ALIVE! Lost in the Mountains Game
- Get kids excited about healthy eating with Staying Alive! Lost in the Mountains – the new, kid-cool adventure board game where food means survival.
Developed and reviewed by Breakfast for Learning’s Nutrition Education Committee, Staying Alive! teaches children how proper nutrition can affect the way the work, learn and play.
Mission 5421: Finding Paradise Island
- This motivating, healthy-eating game is designed for grade 2 and 3 students. It helps children apply the Food Guide to their own lives, and complements in-class teaching. It is also an excellent resource to send home for parents and children to "play" together. Developed by the team of Registered Dietitians at Dairy Farmers of Canada and Breakfast for Learning.
Volunteer Certificate
- Volunteers are an important part of nutrition programs. Thank the volunteers in your program by giving them a special certificate of appreciation.
