π± The Coupon Apps That Secretly Work Better Together: 5 Combo Tricks That Stack Like Magic
Most people use just one cashback or coupon app at a time — but the real savings happen when you use the right ones together. These sneaky combos can turn ordinary discounts into serious cashback or even free products.
All five are in the comments — and #4 might just change how you coupon forever π
π¬ Tip #1
Use Ibotta and Fetch on the same receipt.
These two don’t conflict at all — which means you can scan your grocery receipts to both. Ibotta pays cash back for specific products, and Fetch gives you points for nearly everything you buy. The same $40 grocery run can earn double the rewards in just a minute of scanning.
π¬ Tip #2
Combine Rakuten with store loyalty accounts.
Rakuten pays you cashback for shopping online, but you can also earn store-specific rewards on the same order. For example, shop through Rakuten at Walgreens or Kohl’s while signed in to your loyalty account, and you’ll earn cash from Rakuten plus loyalty points from the store. Double reward, one purchase.
π¬ Tip #3
Pair Shopmium with Coupons.com for max rebate overlap.
Both apps often feature the same brands, but they run separate rebate systems. That means you can sometimes claim both — one on each app — for the same product. Keep your receipt handy and submit it to both right after checkout before either offer expires.
π¬ Tip #4
Use Receipt Hog for your “leftovers.”
Even if your receipt doesn’t qualify for a specific rebate, don’t toss it! Upload it to Receipt Hog or CoinOut — these apps pay you small cash bonuses just for uploading any receipt. It’s not huge money, but it’s steady, and it works perfectly alongside your other cashback apps.
π¬ Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before submitting anything.
I post updates on which coupon and cashback apps are currently running overlapping promotions — the ones that give you multiple rewards for a single receipt. A quick scroll here can make sure you never miss a stackable deal.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people stack their savings smarter? Share this post with your friends so they can learn which coupon apps secretly work better together. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone finally start earning double cashback.

π§Ύ The Coupon Tricks That Still Work in 2025: 5 Old-School Savings Moves That Still Deliver
Couponing has changed a lot over the years — apps, digital codes, and cashback offers have taken over. But some of the old-school tricks still quietly work, even in 2025. These are the ones the pros still use when no one’s looking.
All five are below — and #4 might surprise even veteran couponers π
π¬ Tip #1
Use manufacturer coupons on clearance items.
This trick has been around for decades and still works like a charm. Most stores don’t block coupons just because an item is marked down. If it scans, it counts — and that can turn already-discounted items into near-freebies. Always check the fine print, but 9 out of 10 times, it’ll go through.
π¬ Tip #2
Stack store sales with printable coupons.
Even though many people have gone digital, printable coupons from manufacturer websites are still accepted by tons of major retailers. Pair them with store markdowns, and you’ll often pay less than digital-only shoppers. It’s a classic “paper beats pixels” moment.
π¬ Tip #3
Double coupon days still exist — they’re just hidden.
Some grocery chains quietly still offer double coupon promotions, but they don’t advertise them widely. Ask your local store manager or check the weekly circular closely. You’ll often find small notes like “up to $1 doubled.” It’s a low-key goldmine for serious couponers.
π¬ Tip #4
Mail-in rebates are alive and well (and easier than ever).
They may sound old-fashioned, but rebates are still one of the best ways to get free or near-free products. Most are now digital — just upload your receipt and wait for your refund. It might take a few weeks, but the payback is real, and most shoppers forget to claim it.
π¬ Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before clipping anything.
I post verified coupons, rebate offers, and printable deals every single day. Many of these stack beautifully with in-store discounts, even the ones that sound “too old to work.” The tricks may be vintage — but the savings are timeless.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people keep these tried-and-true tricks alive? Share this post with your friends so they can learn the coupon moves that still save big in 2025. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone rediscover the joy of real couponing.

π€« The Coupon Hacks Cashiers Don’t Tell You: 5 Insider Tricks That Really Work
Cashiers see all kinds of couponing — and while they can’t say it out loud, they know a few tricks that make your savings even better. These are the quiet little secrets you only learn after watching hundreds of transactions a day.
All five are below — and you’ll never look at checkout the same way again π
π¬ Comment 1: Tip #1
Ask if there’s an unadvertised in-store coupon.
Cashiers often have a stash of store coupons at their registers — especially at grocery and drugstores. If you politely ask, “Are there any in-store coupons available today?” they can sometimes scan a coupon for you that isn’t posted online or in flyers. A friendly smile can be worth a few extra dollars saved.
π¬ Comment 2: Tip #2
Scan manufacturer coupons after store coupons.
The order matters! Many systems calculate discounts based on the remaining balance. If you hand over store coupons first, your manufacturer coupons can apply to the higher pre-discount price — meaning bigger savings for you. Most cashiers won’t tell you this, but experienced couponers swear by it.
π¬ Comment 3: Tip #3
Cashiers can manually override coupon glitches.
Sometimes a valid coupon won’t scan — especially if it’s a clearance or sale item. Instead of giving up, politely ask if they can manually enter it. Most stores allow overrides for valid offers, but only if the customer requests it. A calm, kind tone goes a long way toward saving a few extra bucks.
π¬ Comment 4: Tip #4
You can use coupons on rain checks.
If a sale item is out of stock, ask for a rain check and hang onto your coupon. When the product is restocked, you’ll still get the sale price and your original coupon discount. It’s one of the best-kept coupon secrets — and totally fair game.
π¬ Comment 5: Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before heading to checkout.
I post updated coupon codes, sale alerts, and stacking tricks every day — including hidden in-store promotions that cashiers might not even know about yet. A quick peek before you shop can mean extra discounts that no register automatically applies.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people unlock these cashier-approved hacks? Share this post with your friends so they can learn the tricks that stores would rather keep quiet. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone walk away with a full cart and a half-price receipt.

π§Ύ The Coupon Myths That Waste Your Money: 5 Things Savvy Shoppers Know Better
Coupons can be powerful tools for saving - but not when you fall for the myths that actually make you spend more. These are some of the biggest coupon misconceptions that can quietly hurt your budget.
All five are below - and you might recognize a few you’ve believed before π
π¬ Tip #1
Myth: The more coupons you use, the more you save.
Not always! Sometimes stacking too many small discounts causes you to buy extra items you don’t need. Real savings come from smart couponing — using the right coupon on something you were already planning to buy, not chasing every “deal.”
π¬ Tip #2
Myth: Paper coupons are better than digital ones.
Many shoppers still think paper coupons get the best deals, but digital offers are often identical — or even better. Some stores offer exclusive online-only discounts or bonus rewards when you clip digitally. It saves time, paper, and keeps your wallet clutter-free.
π¬ Tip #3
Myth: You have to buy in bulk to save.
Bulk deals can backfire when products expire before you use them. The best couponers check unit pricing — sometimes smaller quantities with a coupon are cheaper per ounce than warehouse-sized packages. Buy what you’ll actually use, not what just looks like a deal.
π¬ Tip #4
Myth: You need multiple store accounts to save more.
While some people create extra accounts for duplicate coupons, many retailers flag or merge them now. Instead, focus on using one account smartly by stacking store rewards, cashback apps, and one-time promo codes. It’s less hassle — and you still save plenty.
π¬ Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before clipping coupons.
I share coupon matchups, price drops, and stackable deals every day. A quick scroll before you start clipping can show you which ones are worth your time and which ones are just marketing fluff.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people stop wasting time and money on coupon myths? Share this post with your friends so they can learn how to coupon smarter too. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone finally master real savings.

π The Discount Codes Stores Don’t Advertise: 5 Hidden Promos You’ll Wish You Knew Sooner
Did you know that some of the best promo codes never make it to the homepage? Retailers quietly share them through newsletters, receipts, or hidden links — and once you know where to look, it’s like unlocking secret VIP pricing.
All five are below — and I promise at least one of these will change how you shop forever π
π¬ Tip #1
Search by specific phrases instead of “store + coupon.”
If you only search “Target coupon,” you’ll get flooded with junk results. Instead, search for phrases like “Target email exclusive code” or “insider promo.” These dig up hidden discounts shared in newsletters or reward emails — the ones stores don’t want showing up on coupon sites.
π¬ Tip #2
Check order confirmation pages for “thank you” codes.
After placing an order, don’t close the page right away. Many retailers hide a “thank you” discount for your next purchase at the bottom or in the fine print. It’s their way of getting repeat business — and most people scroll past it without even noticing.
π¬ Tip #3
Sign up, then abandon your cart before verifying your email.
Here’s a sneaky one: when you sign up for a store’s email list and add something to your cart, wait a few hours before confirming your subscription. Some systems send you both a welcome coupon and a follow-up cart coupon — doubling your discount.
π¬ Tip #4
Look for discount code “families.”
Some stores reuse versions of the same code — for example, “SAVE10,” “SAVE15,” or “SAVE20.” If one doesn’t work, tweak the number and try again. Many times, an active code from the same campaign will still apply, even if it’s not listed anywhere public.
π¬ Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before you checkout.
I post verified, time-sensitive codes that don’t always show up on major coupon sites. Some are newsletter exclusives or social media-only finds — perfect for stacking with existing sales to unlock the lowest price possible.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people uncover secret discounts like these? Share this post with your friends so they can start shopping smarter too. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone discover their next big deal.

CHECK YOUR COUPONS ON YOUR BILL!
You know to check your bill to make sure you got charged the correct price, right?
(I once got charged twice for potatoes and had only bought one bag)
But do you check your coupons have been included too?
Twice just recently, not all my coupons got added to my bill, and I had to go to Customer Service to straighten it out.
I am always very polite and grateful, thanking them for their help.
But I was a bit frustrated because I had been waiting to buy the new gluten-free Chex cereal and it was finally on sale!
Normally $5.95, sale price $3.99 and I had a $1.00 off coupon.
Except when I checked my bill, the clerk had forgotten to add in my coupon!
I wondered how I could prove it?
The first time I was in Walmart, and I questioned the cashier about two missing coupons.
He sent me to Customer Service.
She took me back to the cashier, and they had a time of it looking for the coupon because one was just a tiny one, and had fallen on the floor and been kicked under the desk!
I was starting to think they would think me a liar by the time they found it! LOL
The second time I was in Loblaws Superstore, and went straight to Customer Service.
I told her I didn't know how to prove it, but I had been keeping a tally (so I can write my posts later) and not all the coupons I used were on my bill.
She was very nice about it, just went over to the cashier, checked the coupons in her till, and found the missing one.
So check your bill, and keep track of your coupons you are using!
Alison posted: Don't just ignore the mistake, take care of it right away... It all adds up!
π° Discount Stacking Secrets They Don’t Tell You: 5 Insider Ways to Save More Than Anyone Else
Most shoppers stop after using one coupon or code — but true bargain hunters know how to stack offers to push prices lower than the store ever intended. These discount combos are totally legit but rarely advertised.
All five are below — and once you learn these, you’ll never pay full price again π
π¬ Tip #1
Stack store sales with cashback extensions.
When a store is already running a sale, you can still activate a cashback extension (like Rakuten or TopCashback) to earn extra money back on that same purchase. The sale gives you a discount upfront, and the cashback rewards you afterward — turning a good deal into a great one.
π¬ Tip #2
Combine manufacturer coupons with in-store rewards.
Most stores let you use both on the same item. The manufacturer’s coupon lowers the product cost, and the store reward (like Walgreens Cash or CVS ExtraBucks) gives you credit toward your next trip. Done right, this combo can make everyday items nearly free.
π¬ Tip #3
Use “buy more, save more” promos with clearance items.
When stores run bulk discounts (like “Buy 2, Get 1 Free”), check if clearance or sale items qualify. Many do! Buying three clearance items often triggers the discount on top of already-reduced prices. That’s how you score brand-name items for pennies on the dollar.
π¬ Tip #4
Double up with rebate apps and receipt scanners.
After a shopping trip, upload your receipt to multiple rebate apps — because most don’t overlap their databases. You can earn on the same item from several apps at once. For example, an item could qualify for rebates on Ibotta, Shopmium, and Fetch — all at the same time.
π¬ Tip #5
Always check Frugal Freebies before stacking anything.
I post current coupon codes, rebate combos, and double-dip deals that work together. A few minutes here before you shop can uncover stackable offers that most people completely miss.
π¬ Tip #6
Want to help more people uncover these stacking secrets? Share this post with your friends so they can start combining deals too. Saving is more powerful when we do it together — and one shared post might help someone finally master the art of stacking discounts.
