- to promote the importance of health awareness and regular physical activity for women of all ages.

Broadway Musicals Day

- From Rodgers and Hammerstein to Sondheim, award-winners to cult flops, big-budget spectacles to Fringe transfers, take yourself to a Broadway musical to celebrate this day!

VFW Birthday
- one of the most important days of the year for patriotic Americans both here at home and stationed abroad.

Happy Goose Day
- For those of you who haven’t heard of Goose Day, it is a tradition that sees MIfflin County residents celebrate the every September 29. The tradition began with St. Michaelmas Day and was transported here by a British soldier, Archibald Hunter, who settled in Central Pennsylvania after the Revolutionary War.

Quick Draw McGraw's Birthday 1959
- "Quick Draw McGraw" appeared on the air shortly after the success of the "Huckleberry Hound Show." It was the third series to be produced by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera in association with the Screen Gems distributors and their second to be syndicated nationally by the Kellogg's Cereal Company.

Telly Monster's Birthday
- Telly was initially conceived as a monster obsessed with watching television; his name is short for Television Monster. In his early appearances on Sesame Street, Telly had antennas coming out of the top of his head, and his eyes would whirl around when he watched TV.

- a perfect excuse to indulge in Café Mocha! Treat your friends and family with this delicious coffee drink!
