Cheap and Easy, Travel Bed Rail
Use a swimming noodle, under a fitted sheet to keep your toddler from rolling off of the bed.

You would only need half a noodle
(if the bed is against the wall) or two halves
(one for each side of the bed).
When you stop by a friends or a relatives and need to give your little one a nap, they won't roll off the bed - and you don't have to haul the Pack and Play to those short day trips.
