Homemade Disinfectant Cleaners
Homemade Disinfectant Cleaners

-- Have you ever made your own household cleaners? I remember making a drain cleaner that worked perfectly!

For just pennies you can have a disinfectant spray cleaner that is not only green, but frugal as well.

Rather than buying a commercial disinfectant cleaner, you can make one at home. This is a guide about homemade disinfectant cleaners.

How to Clean a Toilet With Coke
How to Clean a Toilet With Coke

-- Is your toilet full of limescale and other nasty stains and you don't have a chemical toilet cleaner on hand? Or are you looking for less expensive and/or non-toxic cleaning solutions? Don't worry, just reach for the fridge, and grab a Coke!

Would you pour Coke down your toilet - would you do it if it got your toilet sparkling clean without any scrubbing?

The real question is... is this truly a non-toxic cleaner? And if it does such a good job on your toilet, what is it doing to your insides?

Blessing Bags
Blessing Bags

-- I came across this idea on Pinterest (have you gotten addicted to it yet?) and thought - what a great way to use some of the freebies and samples we get!

Blessing bags (keep in car to give to homeless). What a wonderful idea and a great way to demonstrate compassion to your kids!

How to Make Foaming Baby Wash
How to Make Foaming Baby Wash

-- Such a simple way to save $$ and stretch your dollars on baby wash - or any other body wash!

I imagine you could do this with most body washes.

Anyone done this? How did it work out?

If you try this, let us know if it is successful for you!

Remove a Splinter with Baking Soda
Remove a Splinter with Baking Soda

Remove a splinter easily by applying a paste of baking soda and water, then waiting several minutes for the splinter to pop out of the skin.

Gotta remember this!

Cheap and Easy, Travel Bed Rail
Cheap and Easy, Travel Bed Rail

Use a swimming noodle, under a fitted sheet to keep your toddler from rolling off of the bed.

This would be great to keep in the trunk of your car. You would only need half a noodle or two halves. When you stop by a friends or a relatives and need to give your little one a nap, they won't roll off the bed and you don't have to haul the pack and play to those short day trips.

NOTE: Not safe for babies under 1 year old.
