NEW CODE for 7 Swagbucks:

There is a message about a code in the Toolbar!

Code expires at 5:00 PM PT ( that's 8:00 PM ET)


So up to the toolbar I go to check it out.
I click on the part of the toolbar that says
"From TSG [0]" -

when there is a message it changes to "From TSG [1]"

If it seems like there is nothing there, click on the red box next to it, and you should find your message inside.

If you still don't see it, click on an old message, and then click on the red word «NEWER

If not, try refreshing the toolbar. Click on the tiny upside-down triangle next to the SwagBucks logo.

In the drop-down menu, you will see Refresh Toolbar, click that.

If that doesn't work, on the part of the toolbar that says "From TSG [0]" - then click on the two green arrows at the bottom left to refresh your messages.

More ideas? Clear your cookies, close your browser and reopen it.

If you can see the message "The sun is setting..." but there is no code showing - any other time you show check any Ad blocking software you might be using, or activate your Java - it may be blocking the code.

Remember that the code is sometimes dynamic - which means it changes every 15 seconds. So it helps to have two browser tabs open, one for the code and one for the Gimme box. Then just copy n paste, making sure there are no spaces before or after the code, sometimes the cursor adds them. If it still doesn't work, refresh the code and try again.

NOTE - Codes usually look something like this: FaKE2v43COdE (this is NOT the code) Make sure when you copy and paste the code that there aren't any spaces on either side of the code.

Then take it to the SwagBucks.com home page and enter it where it says "Enter your Swag Code" and click the "Gimme" button.

If you have the right code, it will then say "You just received 7 Swag Bucks"!

Note that if you're caught by Swagbucks distributing, sharing, or posting active SwagCodes, your account will be deactivated.

I wrote this information out for a reader who was confused about what she could search for on Swagbucks - and thought it might help some other newbies here:

(NOTE - these ideas can be used for any of the Search & Win sites, not just Swagbucks)

♦ Need to go shopping? Search the store name or how to get there. Search the product(s) you are going to buy.

♦ Search while doing crosswords, word puzzles, trivia questions, to win a bet.

♦ Search that weird, funny, stupid, maddening things your husband, child, friend said to you.

♦ Search the make and model of your car, fridge, stove, computer, bicycle. Search how to take care of or repair these things.

♦ Search for information about the breed of your pets. How to house-train, what food they like. How to agility train them.

♦ Search your name. Your friend's name. Your pet's name. The name of your future children - or grandchildren.

♦ Search a word you heard and don't know the meaning of. Search a word to figure out how to spell it. Make up a word and search it.

♦ Search your favourite TV show - a movie you want to watch - an actor/actress - a book - music or bands.

♦ Search weird, bizarre and ordinary holidays - and what they mean.

♦ Search your favourite forums and discussion boards before you go there.

♦ Search what created the universe - when dinosaurs lived - or why the sky is blue.

♦ Search passages from your favourite book - or the bible - or lyrics from a song.

♦ Search every site you normally go to instead of going straight there - Search for Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Hotmail, Gmail, etc.

♦ Search for Youtube videos, images, what your dreams mean, and news headlines.

♦ Search why your dog dumps his food - or has to circle three times before he lays down. Why babies cry? When do children potty train? What are the "Mommy Wars"?

♦ Search acronyms, abbreviations, letters used to mean something online - like BBL, FTP, TTYL, IMY, FWIW, or SITREP.

♦ Search error messages you get on your computer - or on a webpage.

♦ Search recipes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Search the ingredients - or the nutritional value.

♦ Search for the best prices of that new thing you are thinking of buying.

♦ Search for famous people, moments in history and movie stars - fan pages, news reports, forums and Facebook and Twitter accounts.

♦ Copy a few words from the webpage, email, even search results you have open and search for that!

♦ Search the clues and answer to the Swagcode, Treasure Code or ZB code - and you might get extra points!

♦ Search for one word, like apples, and the first search result is "Official Apple Store" - copy and paste that into the search engine and search that. The first search result of that search is "Build a Website Store" - copy and paste that into the search engine and search that. The first search result of that search is "Easy Online Store Builder" - copy and paste that into the search engine and search that. Repeat till you win!
