Making a "touch and feel" book is an easy and fun activity for you and your child and is a great way to encourage your little one to explore their world...
Depending on the age of your child, you can have him or her help you glue on each item, or even find different textures around the house to include in the book.
You can use the book to teach about shapes, colors, and sizes.
Or if you are feeling especially creative, you and your child can make a collage of your town, family, or anything else you'd like!

About Catherine: I have been writing frugal tips since 1982, when I was a young divorced mom of two - for my baby product company, Born to Love. I am now mom to three sons, who are all grown up, grandma to three - and happily re-married to a wonderful man. We have rescued two little dogs, Denny and Dexter - and a cat, Bella.
