Why My Ninja CREAMi Might Be My New Best Friend (Sorry, Karen)

Image: Ninja CREAMi, Ice Cream Maker, 5 One-Touch Programs

You know that moment where you want ice cream, but you also want to know what’s in it—and maybe not have to put on real pants to go out and get it? Enter: the Ninja CREAMi.

I will say this upfront: I didn’t expect to become obsessed with a countertop ice cream maker. But here we are. Me, late at night, scooping peanut butter fudge swirl like a mad scientist who just cracked the code to happiness.

And the best part? I didn’t even have to churn anything, freeze weird bowls, or Google what "soft-serve consistency" is supposed to feel like. I pressed a button, walked away, came back, and boom: dessert.

🍦 So, What *Is* the Ninja CREAMi?

It’s not just an ice cream maker. It’s a frozen treat wizard. You toss your base (think yogurt, fruit, cream, protein shake, whatever) into the container, freeze it for 24 hours, then pop it into the machine and hit one of five one-touch programs: Ice Cream, Sorbet, Gelato, Milkshake, or Lite Ice Cream.

You know how some gadgets say “one-touch” but require seventeen steps and a user manual thicker than a toddler? This actually is one-touch. No drama. Just dessert.

---

🧁 Objection #1: “Do I Really Need Another Appliance?

Okay, fair. If your kitchen cabinets are already playing Tetris with your waffle iron and Instant Pot, I get it. But this one earns its counter space. Why?

Because it actually gets used. Often. Like “every other night because I can customize my treat and still call it healthy” often. Plus, it’s not just for ice cream. I’ve made frozen Greek yogurt with honey, smoothie bowls that could rival any $14 café version and even dairy-free sorbet for my lactose-intolerant cousin who lives in a constant state of dessert FOMO.

---

💡 Real-Life Mom Use Case:

I used a leftover chocolate protein shake and a scoop of peanut butter to make a post-gym "ice cream" that my kids tried to steal from me. My youngest called it “ninja pudding” and honestly, I didn’t correct her. It felt right.

---

🍓 Variety? Oh, Yes.

Here’s what I’ve whipped up in my Ninja CREAMi so far:

- Strawberry-banana sorbet with a splash of lime juice (summer in a bowl)

- Chocolate avocado gelato (don’t knock it until you freeze it)

- Oat milk vanilla with crushed Oreos (hello, dairy-free cookies & cream)

- Chai-spiced “lite” ice cream with almond milk (my fall obsession)

- Birthday cake milkshake with sprinkles (because I’m the adult and I said so)

Basically, if you can blend it and freeze it, you can CREAMi it.

---

🙋‍♀️ Objection #2: “Is It Complicated?

Nope. Unless you consider “pour, freeze, push a button” complicated. You do need to freeze the mixture for 24 hours before spinning, but once you get into the rhythm, it’s super easy to plan ahead. Think of it as your future self saying, “Hey, tomorrow deserves a treat.

Also: cleanup? Totally manageable. The containers are dishwasher safe, and the machine doesn’t explode frozen dairy all over your counter. Win.

---

🔁 Trust Factor: It’s Not Just Hype

You know when something gets viral-level popular and you're not sure if it’s real or just influencer smoke and mirrors? The Ninja CREAMi lives up to the hype. It’s one of those rare products that makes you feel like you're winning at adulting.

I’ve had zero buyer’s remorse and plenty of frozen joy.

---

🥄 Final Scoop

The Ninja CREAMi is like the cool friend who always brings dessert, never asks you to share, and doesn’t judge your late-night cravings. Whether you’re going full indulgent chocolate overload or trying to stick to your Whole30-meets-sanity plan, it’s got your back.

It’s fun. It’s customizable. It’s easy. And best of all? It makes ice cream that tastes like you made it — because you did.

Highly recommend for:

- Moms tired of sneaking bites of freezer-burned “diet” pints

- Women who want options without additives or mystery ingredients

- Anyone who wants to turn Tuesday into Sundae

So yeah. Karen might still be my best friend. But the Ninja CREAMi is definitely in my top five.

  12. Where would I connect? I am lucky enough to live close to a lake. I love brining a blanket down to this little clearing, watching birds and sitting under trees. It is close enough to my house that I can barely get a flicker of a signal - and this would open up a word of portable possibilites!
